Did a job shadow for them, really awesome department met very nice people and my job shadow officer was very chill and easy to talk to, definetly helped motivate me to continue on my life plans.
(Update day after): Went down talked to the lieutenant and showed him my lease and he showed me a forged one the landlord gave him. He still said he was doing nothing, but threatened to arrest me for "trespassing" at the police department! HOW IRONIC!!!!!
Called the police because landlord's boyfriend would not leave my house after he came at me with a screwdriver. Then the officer said because there was no evidence,that he's not taking my statement because I couldn't prove he came at me. I said, "What about him not leaving when asked to leave; that's trespassing right?" The officer then replied that "You are the unauthorized person and that you're not the lease." I then told him that I could show him our lease but he refused to even take a look at it.
That's what you call a lazy police department. Maybe in this station's eyes, we all can go into anyone's house. Maybe the lieutenant should be a door greater at Walmart if he does not want to work. Thank God I'm leaving this town! I stand for blue, but God now I know why "hands up, don't shoot" is so necessary: The one time that I need them they refuse to do their jobs. Well i gave 1 star but should be a 0.
